After years of hardship and struggles in this new country, these individuals sought out to each other for comfort and a piece of home that they had left behind. This organization became a place where all old friends, families get together twice a year: Summer Picnic and New Year Celebration. Not only to stay in touch but also for the younger generation to get to know each other and to expose, to carry on the culture. As the years went by, the organization grew and became more involve in the community, not only in Gò Công’s hometown but here in Sponsor/Activities in the Community: Education: Every year we sent $1,000.00 back to our Charity Events: In July of 2007 Gò Công ***ociation helped out at a Health Fair Convention Held at NOVA February 2008 we were fortunate to ***ist with Health Awareness held at annual New Year Festival at Falls Church High School. Inspirations- Gò Công New Generation: These are young members within the organization that was inspired by Native Gò Công Village’s direction. They are hoping to carry on the Gò Công Native ***ociation’s tradition and practice. The Gò Công New Generation is seeking help, support. Our initial objective is to help out the less fortunate people back in Our first planned mission for the Gò Công New Generation is to raise money to buy 1000 mosquito nets to p*** out to the Gò Công folks who live off the city before the raining season comes (August 2008), to prevent the yellow fever causing malaria. An emotional inspiration !
This is a real emotional, humanitarian urge for the charity, ***istance to our unhappy people still living in VN.We also suggest the “Next Generation” succeed the Old Generation who know a lot of unhappiness of our people in VN and they did good things for them in the past.
